Abstract
Our perception of time is influenced by a number of factors including attention. Attending to the flow of time seems to shorten perceived duration, whereas taking attention of the flow of time seems to prolong the subjective perception of time. In this experiment we found a significant effect on subjective time perception. Same frequency stimuli in the auditory domain are judged shorter than different frequency stimuli. Whereas in the visual / auditory domain same frequency stimuli are judged longer than different frequency stimuli.
