Abstract

The present technological and regulatory power system needs to adapt to the increase in the share of distributed generation. This research focuses on the applicability of the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) concept as a solution to overcome integration barriers for distributed generation into the grid, with a focus on the situation in the Netherlands.
