Abstract
The aim of the thesis is the study, explanation and interpretation of the relationship between the civil (ethics, politics) and the natural (theoretical) in the works of Francis Bacon. In particular, I will do a close examination of different texts in chronological order: The wisdom of the ancients (1609), the Novum Organon (1620) and the History of life and death (1623).
