Dark Europeanism. Far right visions of Europe between 1968 and 1985.

Abstract

This research studies the ideological development of the European far-right during between 1968 and 1985. Is focusses on the far-right think tank GRECE and their changing ideological view on Europe. Using the concept of security imaginaries, this research describes and explains the evolution of far-right ideology in terms of threats, interests and practices. In doing so, this research adds to the study of the far-right in this transformative period. Furthermore, it uncovers Dark Europeanism as a far-right and transnational intellectual movement.
