Abstract
This study explores the intercultural communication experiences of IT expatriates in the Netherlands, focusing on their narratives obtained through interviews. The findings reveal two key aspects: the expat's communication challenges encountered in the workplace, and the cross-cultural adjustment process which contribute to a better understanding of the communication dynamics experienced by self-initiated IT expatriates, emphasizing the cultural learning process.
