Abstract
This research serves an informative guide and a repeatable approach regarding creating an agent-based
modeling of cyclists route-choice preferences. It provides innovative features for the agent-based
modeling of cyclists and urban planning domain. The study seeks to determine the underlying
reasons for route choices made by cyclists and tries to implement these reasons as the parameters of
cyclist agents route choice behavior in the agent-based model, on the given bike road network.
